Beth L. Faber DDS MS PC
Dr. Beth treats both children and adults and with each treatment comes different rewards. In college, her advanced level psychology courses were in developmental psychology and in orthodontics she gets to participate in her young patients' development. Dr. Beth plays an active role, not only in developing their face and smile, but she also influences the development of their self-esteem. It is her pleasure to experience these young people as they mature into young adults while in treatment. Working with adult patients allows her to help them create a healthy bite and beautiful smile that they love to show off, as well as cultivating a personal relationship during this process. In both cases, seeing each patient finish treatment with a beautiful smile, with a healthy bite and seeing the pride and confidence that their new smile provides is the ultimate reward.
Dr. Beth's academic accolades started in high school. She was Salutatorian of the first graduating class of Trinity High School in Richmond, Va. She completed her undergraduate studies at the College of William and Mary where she graduated with a double major in Chemistry and Psychology. While in college, Dr. Beth was a competitive swimmer on the swim team and a member of the synchronized swim team. After college, she completed four years of dental school, graduating from the Medical College of Virginia. From there she chose to specialize in orthodontics and spent two years in advanced training in orthodontics. She received her Certificate and her Masters Degree in Orthodontics from the University of Detroit. For one year Dr. Beth was an associate in a two doctor practice in Toledo, Ohio. In 1986 she opened her own practice in Tappahannock, Virginia. Six years later she opened her second office in Kilmarnock, Virginia.
Dr. Beth enjoys reading and cooking. Cooking with her children and preparing their favorite dishes is her most special activity. Molasses cookies, brownies, meat balls are just a few of her specialties.
